Arolithos
A traditional Cretan village
Arolithos is a traditional Cretan village that respects the Cretan past and successfully tries to maintain it through the local arts and crafts, the native cuisine, the customs and habits of the region. It lies on the slope of a mountain, 11 klms away from Heraklion, on the old national road of Heralion-Rethymno. In Arolithos, the visitors have not only the opportunity to see and taste the traditional way of life, to know the customs and habits of Crete, but also to relax and spend some enjoyable time in the nature.
